Returns at Chef Grade Supply
At Chef Grade Supply, we specialize in high-quality, heavy-duty residential and commercial equipment. Shipping oversized items is vastly different than shipping standard parcels. Please review our policies carefully so you know exactly what to expect when ordering, receiving, or returning heavy freight.
1. Our 30-Day Return Policy
If you change your mind about a purchase, we accept returns on standard, unused inventory within 30 days of the invoice date.
To qualify for a return, the item must be 100% brand new, never used, unassembled, and in its original factory packaging (including all crates and pallets).
How to start a return: Do not ship an item back without contacting us first. Reach out to our support team at sales@chefgradesupply.com or call 561-473-4220 to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and specific routing instructions.
2. Return Fees & Freight Costs
Processing, inspecting, and warehousing heavy commercial equipment requires significant labor. Because of this, please be aware of the following deductions if you choose to return an item:

25% Restocking Fee: All standard returns are subject to a strict 25% restocking fee.

Return Shipping: You are responsible for hiring a freight carrier and paying all return shipping costs.

Reversing "Free Shipping": If your item shipped to you for free, that means Chef Grade Supply absorbed the initial freight cost. In the event of a buyer's remorse return, that original outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your final refund.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be restocked once they leave the warehouse. We do not accept returns on:

Used, installed, or altered equipment.

We ship no orders outside the contiguous 48 United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories).

4. Order Cancellations

Before it ships: If your order hasn't left our warehouse (and isn't a custom Special Order), we can cancel it for a full refund with no penalties.

After it ships: Once an item is on the truck, it cannot be canceled. If you refuse delivery at your location, it will be treated as a standard return. You will be responsible for the 25% restocking fee and all round-trip freight charges.
